Spring City Consulting Group, Inc. is the parent company of four operating divisions. The forensic and expert witness practice featured on this site draws on more than four decades of combined technology experience across all four.

Operations began in 2005 as SCCT, LLC. The business was incorporated as Spring City Consulting Group, Inc. in 2008. As of March 2024, the company is led by President & Co-Owner Jason Roskopf and Chief Executive Officer Shawn Hansen.

The forensic practice draws on technical depth across all four divisions. Recovery cases benefit from clean-room and chip-off capability. Investigations involving network or wireless data benefit from operational experience administering enterprise wireless and cellular networks. And the underlying technology background — system administration of enterprise environments at GE Healthcare, ABB, and LTG, beginning in the 1990s — predates the practice itself by more than two decades.

Division 1 - ITC Data Recovery

Division 1 - ITC Data Recovery

Founded: November 2006

ITC Data Recovery is a Wisconsin leader in clean-room data recovery and advanced digital forensics. The division specializes in complex recoveries that other shops cannot complete, including RAID arrays, SSDs, physically damaged hard drives and flash drives, and chip-off recovery of non-conventional storage devices.

ITC’s recovery work has supported municipal and county law enforcement agencies in Wisconsin and northern Illinois, as well as private clients and Fortune 500 companies. Representative recoveries include large server-level data restoration, retrieval of mobile devices from bodies of water, and chip-off recovery of devices alleged to have been intentionally destroyed.

ITC Data Recovery is the source of much of the technical depth supporting the forensic practice — examinations are not limited to what an off-the-shelf tool can extract.
